St.Vincent De Paul National School Book Camaign

St.Vincent De Paul is running a national school book camaign. it will only take people just over one minute to help make a difference to lots of families. Frequent school book edition changes, particularly at second level, puts too many parents under lots of pressure and hardship. This could be changed if there was more funding from the Department of Education to properly stock school book rental schemes.
SVP is looking for the Minister for Education and Skills to call a halt, we are campaigning for an end to this unnecessary strain on families. There is an online petition please click on www.svp.ie/books and sign up - a meeting is planned soon with the Minister so lots of signatures are needed.
